The instructions say to run the antennae vertical, but I ran it horizontal along under the dash and can flip the door locks easily from inside the house at least 25 ft. Ran the wires up behind the re-installed kick panel and placed the controller up behind the glove box area. I simply stripped about one-half inch of insulation from the middle of each wire and then, from the Viper 211VH wires, spliced the red wire (fuse) and the violet/black (fuse) wires to the Elky orange/black, then the Viper ground black to the grounding screw where the relay box was grounded, then the Viper green/black to the Elky light blue, and the Viper blue/black to the Elky black. On the Elky, the light blue wire is the lock, the black is the unlock, (the other black wire goes to ground and is easy to identify) and the orange/black is the constant power. But when I look at the factory manual for the car it shows that there is a blue/green wire for lock, and a blue wire for unlock. I accessed the wires by removing the passenger side kick panel.
In case anybody is interested, here is how this wires in. I only wired it in for keyless remote, no lights or horn honking as lock/unlock indicators. I got the keyless remote system installed. H1/17-Brown/Black unlock #87a normally closed H1/16-Orange (-)500mA ground when armed output H1/14-White/Blue (-)200mA channel 3 validity output H1/10-White (+-/-) Parking light flash output H1/9-Violet unlock #87 normally open (input) H1/8-Blue/Black unlock #87 normally open (input) H1/7-Violet/Black lock #87 Normally open (input) H1/6-White/Black lock #87 Normally closed H1/4-Black/White Output of domelight supervision relay #30 H1/3-Black/White-1 Input of domelight supervision relay #87 Any help would be appreciated and any input about what wires to connect to get the horn to honk when locked. blue wire and the blue/black wire into the Elky black unlock wire. I patched the violet/black (fused) wire into the Elky lt.
The system has power and the box clicks when I push the remote buttons, but nothing happens. I accessed the wires from under the PS kick panel. I tried to follow Magicacorns wiring diagram ( ) but no go. All I want is to install it to lock and unlock the doors and honk the horn when locked.
